Quite alot really considering we spent 40 million pounds on the guy to play at the highest level in Europe when he has the technical abailites of a championship player

His price is a reflection on nothing as every other player in our squad, you pay what you're willing to and also a vast amount of that was due to his 3rd party ownership. Delph was a multi million pound player and opted to pass to a player with an opponent on his arse rather than to a team mate in acres of space.

Doesn't matter if your an £8M player or an £40M player making simple mistakes like that still doesn't mask the fact that you're a professional player that should be aware of your surroundings, to pin the blame on Mangala alone is fucking stupid, Delph put pressure on his team mate and Mangala panicked and instead of playing the ball along the ground to Fernandinho instead opted for the looping ball over the top which evaded him.

A subuetto player has more technical abilities than Mangala.

Mangala hahaha what else can you say about him that hasn't already been mentioned,at one stage he was the furthest player up field,he has the makings of a player in him but too many times he idles and his mind wanders and then ends up in midfield or attack when he should be defending...

He is shite! There isn't a person in the world, never mind this forum, that could convince me otherwise - it's ludicrous that we have him anywhere near the squad never mind actually playing!!

Well, like someone early said. Somebody has to be accountable whether thats Tixi or whoever cause we'll only go backwards with more purchases like that

Losing hope, but I wouldn't write him off at the moment.

He's a fucking liability at present, but a lot of that is down to Pellegrini IMO. We're a shambles at the back, low on confidence, poorly organised and have little to no cover in midfield.

He has the raw materials, if Pep does come and he can't get it out of him then he needs fucking off.

Delph on the other hand, isn't good enough regardless.

He was just as culpable in that second goal as Mangala was.

Nothing to do with the purchases these players are good enough, Delph looked quality in his first few games and start of the season Mangala started looking like the player we hoped him to be, you don't show glimpses of quality if you're shit. The players are finding it hard playing in a system that doesn't suit the team and it's obvious where the problem is!

Remember under Mancini we weren't pretty to watch at times and passed it around the box time and time trying to get a tap in but at least we were solid at the back, our best defensive seasons were under Mancini and it had nothing to do with Kompany because as soon as Mancini went that's when Kompany and co. started looking shaky and shit.
It's all fine trying to play attacking football but we're playing Kevin Keegan tactics "you score 2 and we'll score 3" but without the "we'll score 3"

Agree, noticed sky got the knives out for mangala over the goal, strange that an England player gets a by ball considering he was as much to blame...

I was saying it live, as it was developing.

Pass to fucking Fernandinho, he was in acres in the centre circle, take a touch, pop the ball off and Fern's carrying the ball and we're hitting Arsenal on the break.

Instead the daft little fuck takes a shit first touch, panics from a little pressure, and plays it back to an under pressure Mangala - who tries to pick out the pass Delph should've but just executes it fucking terribly.

Delph deserves even more flak IMO, as he put us under unnecessary pressure with dogshit centre mid play.

Doesn't belong at this level IMO.
