I'm still waiting for one of those 5 or so headed goals a season he promised City TV on his initial interview.

His signing is right up there as the worse business we've ever done. At least Jo did score the odd goal, and so did Savic and RSC.

The player is truly woeful and for me his time is up. Let's accept it, we F*@#%d up big style here and he needs to be left outside the nearest charity shop asap.
I think we all desperately wanted him to do well, so much we overlooked his positional problems & his habit of diving in, getting turned etc thinking it was just , new team, new country etc but the guy has not learned a thing & is actually getting worse....tbh Otemendi isn't looking much better either.

Hold your horses guys.... Apparently it's the system we play that's causing his ineptitude. He'd be a world beater if it wasn't for that!..... Not.

He moves like a dog that's had doggy boots put on it for the first time. I doubt he'd get a game for Atherton Colliery.

I tried to give him a chance but his ball playing skills are non-existent and he makes too many mistakes that lead directly to goals.

Even when receiving the ball with so much space around him he looks to get rid of it ASAP to the nearest player.

I am still in shock that he is the most expensive defender in HISTORY. What were we thinking

Maybe a new coach will sort him out, build his confidence again.

I think we've expected too much because of his price (not his fault), but he's nowhere near good enough at the moment. If Pep can't improve him next year we'll get rid.

Made some great tackles and interceptions against Arsenal, was playing really well up until his balls up setting them up to score. For me it's not his ability that's in question, it's his lack of concentration on doing the basics right, it's a shame really because he could be very good if he kept his focus and kept it simple.

I remember the outrage on here when the news broke we were getting Otamendi and Mangala was going to Valencia on loan.

Absolute outrage on the back of 2/3 good performances.

Football is a funny old game.

Yes he's playing gash but alongside Demechelis at the end of last season and alongside Vinny at the start of this season he started to look the part. Need to remember that he's young and his confidence can't of been helped by us signing Otamendi who had been bought effectively to play ahead of him. Had Kompany not been injured he might have only got the odd cup run out this season.
