If Joe played for the rags , munich , real or barca , he would be the best keeper in the world , we watch him every week , hes a leader from the back and is always communicating with his defenders , really , really top class keeper , and he performs at the highest level champs league , internationals and the toughest domestic league in the world , absolutely no question , he is currently the best in the world , hes just got the wrong football crest on his shirt.
Agreed, he was becoming a bit of a laughing stock a couple of season back but his turnaround has been quite remarkable. Top class man management from Pellegrini as well because dropping Hart seems to have been the turning point.

He was signed from a Spanish second division side and was part of Malaga's La Liga ascent. He had performed to a similar standard to Hart when in Europe. In their only season to date in the Champions League they where only a couple of minutes away of knocking out the eventual runners up and progressing to the semi finals themselves Caballero was a promising youth keeper (winning the 2001 u-20 World Cup with Argentina) and has league winners medal to his name. He finished behind Keylor Navas and Courtois ahead of Iker Casillas in 2013-14.
A quick cut and paste would've saved a bit of time, Ray.

Granted GdB.
Ray, you're a sound poster, mate but Willy's not even the best reserve keeper in the league. No team in the Prem would take him over what they've already got between the sticks. He's better than Wright but nowhere near Panties level, let alone Harts.
Pantie had/has the hunger and desire to be a number one and not just a journeyman second choice. Willy doesn't. His time has past I'm afraid.

On current form I agree Caballero shouldn't be considered for any of our key games and hasn't performed to the level that he had shown at his previous clubs. But throughout his career he has shown that he can perform at a higher level and if we didn't sign him Barcelona or Real Madrid would of taken that gamble and would of gotten the best out of him. Hart has mentioned that Caballero (and Wright) has helped with his own game.

After yesterday's worldie performance, and that near miss assist to Agüero, I might commence getting over that corner against Wigan in the FA Cup final.

Anyways, Joe is a superb keeper with the occasional errors á la WetHam, and some dithering at set pieces and crosses, add usually poor distribution.

He is improving his goalkeeping, is Joe.

to say that caballero is nowhere near pantilimon is absolutely ridiculous.

Ray just tell me about 1 specific game where he performed at the level Joe did in the four games I mentioned - just direct me toward the you tube clips that show this, in one match, any match?
