True I do like a good opinion poll, but to be fair to Joe having watched MOTD that shot was going in, so a vital save. AND even better was the save when he was quick off his line earlier on to block a shot after Bony's poor pass out had put us under pressure.
He actually saved a low shot at his near post on his left hand side! I feel a parade may be in order (even if it was incredibly soft and potentially not definitely going in). Still, another clean sheet and he kept alert through a game where he could easily have had a little nap. It's an important clean sheet as I've always thought Joe is normally at his best in the games where he's busy, like in the CL where he's been outstanding, he sometimes is a bit vulnerable to doing something daft when he doesn't have much to do.

He's very vocal, organises, motivates and totally committed, and he always gets involved with the Ref when situations demand it

He is not "generally decisive in the air", which is one reason why there is a "debate over Joe".Joe is the best keeper in the league and one of the top 3 in Europe. He is an amazing shot stopper, great on one on ones, has brilliant starting positions, is generally decisive in the air, and his fast release distribution is excellent. Every keeper including Hart will drop the odd bollock (often the difficult 'stay or go' from a cross) but Joe is so consistent.
I know football is a game of opinions but I really don't understand how there is any debate over Joe at all. This thread should just be a huge love-in.
