The lad is the real deal. Keep it coming Kevin, he worked his bollocks off yesterday for 90 minutes. If we play with the offensive style we did at the start of the 13/14 season, this boy could be right up there at the end of the season stat wise. Very very early to call but I'd be astounded if Kevin doesn't win PFA player of the year in the next few seasons.

It's a travesty that Silva has never won this. The people involved in the voting process are clueless or biased to the bone

Regarding the protracted negotiations for his transfer from Wolfsburg and the obvious interference from VW during that process I wonder if our owner had anything to do with exposing this blow to the VW reputation and the way it is affecting their share price ? :

Probably not but it does serve as a reminder to all that our owner may be a person who you would not want to upset, just in case.

Much as I am enjoying VW's pain (for many reasons) I thing its a stretch to make any reference to His Highness at the same time as dodgy engine management software in a panzerwagon

Maybe, but since Sheikh M. invests his money the dodgy software you refer to is there to be manipulated if the occasion presents itself.
As I said VW are the dodgy ones and our owner may benefit from exploiting the share price because that is one of the ways he makes more money.

He's quicker than I thought.

He's stronger than I thought.

He's more defensively-minded than I thought.

I knew he was a top player just from watching him for Wolfsburg.

To see this boy, live, however, really does open your eyes to his true potential.

The way he picks the ball out of the air so easily, he's perhaps a little more advanced than even Silva was in terms of development at his age.

A potential world footballer of the year in years to come at this rate.

I'm impressed with what I've seen so far he has plenty in his lockers. The way he can interchange with other players is superb

That was what impressed me most about him. His control is instant and it doesn't seem to matter how fast or what height the ball is pinged in at him. He's better than I thought he was. Some of those passes he made were sublime. I can't wait to see him playing with Silva.

Totally agree Tolm.
I'm not one for going overboard or underboard on a player at first sight as I'm a glass half empty sort of bloke when it comes to City but after seeing him on Saturday I will just say WOW!
He could even play BEHIND Silva as a DM if he wanted.
Maureen has made the biggest cock up in management history letting this lad go.

what I liked most was even when he made a mistake, he went and won the ball back, he also won possession where you'd never expect a Silva or Nasri to do so, which was refreshing, unfortunately the rest of the team let him down.

Apparently he ran the most of all players in the West Ham game. Half a kilometre more then Noble.

He's been fantastic. The goal on Saturday was just the cherry on top of a brilliant performance. Hard working, great vision, calm head and a breathtaking touch. He's the real deal
