utter crap today, and I say that being really impressed with him so far, but that was a game that required him to be the man, and he let Marcos fucking Rojo boss him.

59% pass completion today, the 1 good moment being his assist to Yaya who then fucked it up, other than that, really bad and I hope he learns from it.

Bit cack today but he was isolated, if Silva and Aguero were on that pitch today he would have had all the space in the world. But because they weren't United could just get out an close him down.

He was poor but credit to United, they did their homework and knew he was the danger man, seemed to bevtwo or three on him.

On the odd occasion when he got past Rojo his final ball was poor mind

Played like an inexperienced kid today, not a £50m player. Hopefully just an off day and he can continue his good start.

utd knew he was the only creative threat we had and nullified him.......

for the palace game id like to see:

navas -----------kdb---------sterling

Well if you want to see why he didn't like it at Chelsea I think this match sums it up... He's certainly built for an attacking free-flowing style that we play rather than the defensive solid side of it.

Didn't play well but didn't have much chance, would have preferred Navas to replace Yaya & given him the CAM role with pace on either side.

Was poor but it was almost a 100% the fault of Pellegrini, so I wouldn't worry too much.

We played with 3 very slow midfielders (Yaya, Fernandinho and Fernando) and a slow mo striker (Bony). So all the fast attacking power could only come from the sides without any other attacking support at all. Sterling and Navas are not good enough to worry United at their own, so the only thing United had to do was defend De Bruyne today.

And De Bruyne is a 10, not a winger at all. Let's not forget that. So De Bruyne played 97% bad because of Pellegrini, 3% because of his own fault.

We have a point, Pelle played only for the 0-0 and we have made it. So we should be happy in stead of moaning about the players that were victim of the tactics.

I don't like him on that right hand side, he's been poor pretty much whenever he's played there. He's been much better on the left or in the middle, but the same is true of Sterling and we apparently have to find a place for the ghost of Yaya Toure so it doesn't give us many options. Very poor today though, some really poor deliveries that cannot be put solely down to playing on the right.

Every person and his dog could see that he was struggling on the right side, so what did Pellegrini do? He kept that donkey on the pitch for whole 76 minutes and if that wasn't enough he played him as a central attacking midfielder.

Like Di Maria (even when on form), he's susceptible to really shit halves/games every now and then due to his direct style of play. Over the course of the season he proves to be a big benefit tho

That's being a bit too biased imo. To be honest pratically all his passes didn't conect. He sould've at times just chosen to play the simpler passes.

I think the issue was that he clearly felt he had to step up, which made him try to force things way too much. If a silva or Aguero were on the pitch he would've be happy to let them have the ball more as you can see in previous matches. Combine that with him being given no space by united and him playing on the wing, you get a bad performance. Really hopes he learns from this.

That being said i thought Yaya was also instrumental in his bad performance. No runs and pressure whatsoever.

I knew Eagles Fan with Dzeko had to be replaced by someone with De Bruyne.
