Serious question, considering his record in Champions League, would Silva have made any difference tonight?

This is where I disagree, Silva is head and shoulders above the rest in Premier League but he hardly has the same affect in Champions League.

Whether it is against Napoli, Ajax, Barcelona, Dortmund or Madrid. Same dire performances, there is a reason why he hasn't been nominated for the Ballon D'or.

He will finish this season in double figures on both goals and assists in all competitions. He will compete for the Ballon D'or in a few years (meaningfully, when tit 1 and tit 2's dominance slips).

Well said mate. I knew there was a reason why Silva never made the initial 59 man list. Also helps explain why Bony and Diego Costa did make that initial list.
