I'm really not sure about this signing. Not sure where he plays and so far Navas has given us really good balance on the right. What I remember of KdB is he is he likes to be more central. Obviously you can never have too many options but don't think he should go straight into the starting 11.
It's the ONLY concern with this transfer. We need to manage the change in balance that De Bruyne brings, and ensure that Sagna doesn't become targeted with 2 v 1's on the counter attack. If we adapt to that well, then we'll be unstoppable, but it might need a few adjustments. Fernandinho should always be to the right of Yaya, to allow him to plug any gaps down that flank when we lose the ball whilst De Bruyne has moved infield. Navas then becomes a great sub to have when we are 1 or 2 up. Navas can come on and completely shut down the right wing, thanks to his impressive defensive contribution. The slight change and loss of width is not something to be losing sleep over, but we do need to be aware of it and make adjustments to our play.

I can't wait to see him scoring in a blue shirt. Every time he scores or makes an assist it will bring more tension into the relationship between Mourinho and Abramovich.

I'm more excited about Sterling than De Bruyne because Sterling is suited to the role he gets in the team.

De Bruyne will be a player for the future, but in the short term I think he'll come in for Navas and I expect Navas to be the better right winger

In time maybe De Bruyne replaces Silva or Toure. It's a long term buy I think.

Some fans will be expecting too much from him and then rubbishing him within weeks.

Can definitely see him moving into Yaya's role later in his career.

I think Silva, Sterling & KDB can all play behind Aguero and change where they play throughout a game. I think all three can play on either side or in the middle & could confuse the fuck out of the other team.
