DeBruyne was the first to congratulate Hazard. It should have actually been Hazard congratulating him, for making the goal from nothing.

DeBruyne often looks an absolute class above Hazard for Belgium. Hazard is often the focus of the attacks & his talent is obvious, but DeBruyne looks a much smarter footballer by comparison & also has great ability. He looks like he's going to be right on Silva's wavelength, which would be worrying the shit out of me, if they played for another team.
Our Xavi and Iniesta?

Even Fellaini's better than Hazard for Belgium. Not that big of an accomplishment tbh, he just isn't the same player for the NT.

Thought KDB had another excellent game on the right. Rags claiming he'll imbalance the side are going to be in for a rude awakening. Silva will love playing with him.

To be fair I think that Navas although inept at times in attack is positionally aware on the pitch. When we are trying to break teams down the left with Sterling, Kolorov and Silva and lose the ball, Navas tracks back and tries to help break up the counter attack. De Bryune although superior in attack may not, although I hope he will. The other thing I hope is that MP knows this and tries to have Yaya and Dinho sit back more and leave it up to the likes of our forward players and full bakcs to break teams down instead of having Yaya pushed up leaving us exposed on the counter. Not that Yaya is great on tracking back, but I think when teams park the bus De Bryune can be the one to fire shots from outside the box like what Yaya has been doing for us. Then Yaya can do what Dinho is currently doing by pinging the ball back in when we are in the final 3rd and have Dinho sit back more ready for counter attacks then we should have the balance right.

Having two players with defence destroying passing in Silva and KDB is going to really open up our attacking options, but we also have Yaya don't forget, with his latest part trick being the pass without looking, and now Aguero is scoring again, well, someone is going to get tore a new one this season.
Hope it's the rags, it should've been 10, it may well be

Seems he's best suited to central midfield. Reminds me of Gerrard when he was good, but where are we going to play him?

Out wide would be least disruptive, but is he as good as Navas out wide? Centrally suits him best but then we have Toure and Silva there.

When you say central midfield you mean attacking mid right? I mean he's not going to be challenging Yaya/Dinho/Delph for central midfield berths or is he?

Just had a look through his stats from last season and it seems he played just over 1 in 5 in wide positions and seemed to be just as productive out there, well according to the numbers he is anyway.

It seems to me that he's earmarked to be Silva's long term successor in that 10 role but initially I believe he starts for us on the right. If he reproduces for us on the right what he did for Belgium against Bosnia the other night on a consistent basis then we're on to a winner.

Hi Guys, congrats on signing KDB. I'm a big fan of Kev since the first game I saw him play for Genk at the age of 18.
I can give you my view on KDB.

When he left Genk for Chelsea KDB's problem was that he couldn't dose his energy. He was in love with the ball and wanted to be everywhere, after 70minutes his game was practically over.
Another weak point was his strength and heading. He just hated heading and was easily put aside in duels.

In Bremen and Wolfsburg KDB became a lot stronger. His vision and long balls has always been phenomenal, Hecking gave him a free attacking role providing the team with lots of assists and goals.
You can compare KDB with a high tech submarine: his radar notices teammates extremely quickly followed by sharp torpedo's splitting through opponent defenses. For example yesterday quick pass to Mertens for Belgium.

Coming to Man City is a huge challenge for KDB, he proved to deliver tons of goals and assists (Genk,Bremen,Wolfsburg) in a team where he was the playmaker and recieved a lot of confidence. In Man City he will need to find his place between Silva, Nasri, Sterling and Navas which will need some time. I hope MP puts him in a central role where he will get lots of ball contacts but he will definitely need a couple of games to now where he is positioned best. After this period, i'm sure you will all love him.

Did you know he also has a clothing line in Belgium? https://www.culteleven.com/2_kdb

Sorry for my basic English, hope you appreciate my contribution.
