Good to see him getting a few goals. His link up play for Silvas goal was class and took his 2 goals well. This is only going to boost his confidence and I can see him scoring a few more goals with Merlin back too its all positives going forward.

I've been super critical of him recently, and rightly so, but I thought he was excellent tonight.

No it wasn't rightly so. He's 21 he's gonna be inconsistent but games like tonight show what we will be getting nearly every game in a few years time.

B-b-but Sterling is an overrated waste of money, a mercenary and a traitor! He was poorly advised and greedy!

I think his goals and contribution were great but what should really be even more appreciated is his work rate and application and it was that approach that eventually got him and the team the breakthrough. Impressive and he is only going to get better and he brings a lot of intangibles.
