With talk of Isco coming it seems like Nasri might be out the door.

He's always been incredibly frustrating for us, lacking consistency and never really fulfilling his potential, but I've always liked him and I think we've missed him a lot this season.

Whatever happens after this season, I really hope we see Nasri at his very best in a city shirt again before he leaves.

He could provide a similar boost to our title run a la Tevez in 11/12 or Dzekos great run in 13/14 if he came back from his injury in March in good form.

We won't see him in a city shirt if Isco comes in my opinion

Think that's what's likely to happen unless it's Demi which is off which has also been reported but then it leaves us short at Centre Half

No chance we're getting rid of Demi with Kompany crippled. There's surely no way we are going to remove Nasri from the squad when he's sceduled to be fit come February. He'd become completely toxic behind the scenes as would any player who's told they won't be registered to play for the rest of the season. And with his long term injury, who in their right mind would be willing to sign him on no doubt high wages? Too much of a risk, we'd have to literally give him away and there still wouldn't be many tempted.

Only thing that seems remotely plausible to me is if we have a homegrown replacement lined up for Demi, either bringing back Denayer at some considerable expense or an English centre back (Not Stones as there's no chance he will be sold in January) Either of those and Isco would be major overhauls to undertake mid season. Seems like far too much work to do in January.

Nasri won't be fit till mid March/early April

Samir Nasri has been a huge miss this season. So many games he would have helped with his intelligence and ability to find the right pass. Links up great with Yaya and Silva too. I also feel he'd help Sterling too with his eye of the needle through passes. He rarely gives it away either so when your winning he's great at holding the ball up for us and calming things down. I look forward to having him back as he's a fantastic option to have.

Didn't Pellegrini say Feb recently? If that's true then it makes sense, as long as it has been discussed and agreed with Nasri that it's best for him to write off the season and get himself fit. I can't think of a worse player in our squad to have unhappy in our squad, seems the type to completely destroy morale.
