Trouble is that he is likely to get a run of games in a much depleated team which will not be a true reflection of what he can bring to the table. His run of bad luck continues. I rate the guy but he must have some bad karma going on!

Should be more like playing with Swansea. Tailor made for him. His problem may be he is too dazzled by what's around him.

Lots of rubbish written about Bony. The reality is he has not had anywhere near enough time to get up to form with us or for our players to get used to playing with him. He is a very different striker to what we have had over recent years but when on form he should fit in very well.

With the pacey attacking midfield / wide players we have Bony should fit in very well, it’s a slightly different type of approach play but it should suit the likes of Sterling and Navas. He also offers an aerial threat which again would offer something for the wide players to hit with crosses.
It just requires a tweak to the way we play rather than wholesale changes. With KDB as the No10 and sterling and navas making the runs into the box then we have an excellent attack that could revolve around his hold up play. Aguero needed time to get up to speed this season but people aren’t willing to give Bony the same.

The big with plus with Bony is his excellent hold up play.

The big problem is we never play to compliment a big strikers hold up play.

He's always looking to do the opposite thing to the rest of the team (apart from Yaya) and this contributes to a horrible lack of composure in front of goal.

To get Bony into the groove, most of the players around him would have to come out of theirs.

Not our worst player but definitely our most ill-fitting.

don't know what all this nonsense about him being "good in the air" is. the man's only six foot, he's not winning any aerial battles against premier league centre backs
