if you mean tuesday in Seville then im not sure how you havent seen either on this board or on the OS or in the papers that Kelechi is not in the CL squad due to ineligibility
I think he means in the League Cup match on Wednesday vs. Palace.

I feel for him, because he just doesn't seem to fit the system. He is fantastic at winning headers and holding the ball up, but the benefit to that is only when you have someone willing to run in behind. He'd be a perfect partner within a 4-4-2 for a Segio or Sterling to play off, but on his own it just makes things too easy for the opposition.

Everything he does is in front of the defence and he looks neither quick enough nor willing enough to make moves in behind. As soon as Kelechi came on he chased things down and made those runs in behind, and although nothing came to fruition it causes more problems mentally for defenders.

Bony is a good centre forward and he is a good finisher, his past record proves so. But at the minute it isn't working for the lad unfortunately.

Dont think ive seen bony sprint yet in a city shirt he just seems to jog around doesnt work hard enough or try and run in behind defences or get into the box.

Today was an eye opener for me. He has reached that stage in his city career where he can play fucking awful all game, but have 1 good bit of movement/holdup play and that means he has had a decent game.

Kelechi has to start games now

I don't want to slate the lad but his mobility for a top class PL striker is concerning.

There was an opportunity for him to play Yaya in with a one/two and he didn't even move towards the ball.

Kelechi looks better to me.

He's a forward who needs service. Frankly De Bruyne and Sterling were appalling today. Offered zero service for him. De Bruyne's pass completion must be below 70% today.

But that won't stop him becoming the latest target of some of our fans.

Sergio gets plenty of service with the same players around him and in the same system.

The difference? Sergio looks to make himself available to those players. Seriously, I can't recall one occasion (though I'm sure there must be at least one!) when Bony has been on the end of a through ball played into space. That's his limitation, not the other players who have already proved they can support a lone striker.

Exactly - good post, I guess that is why in today's money Sergio is worth about 100m and Bony about 18m.
