Bony came to us as a proven Premier League goal scorer. But he's a poacher, a muscleman, a danger from set pieces. He's not a City standard player.

Poacher? He couldn't poach an egg.
His goals have come against cannon fodder, any top defender would have him in their pocket.

Should have passed to Yaya on the break who would have scored than miss from that side. Trying too hard to score for himself at the moment and hopefully he sees the bigger picture. also had a few bad touches losing possession for us. other than that, good enough to cross the line today.

Apologies if this point has already been made but as a stab in the dark MP will not have the funds to bring in a forward good enough to be back up to Kun (or would frankly be happy to play second fiddle in our current formation of one up top) in January. He needs therefore to keep Bony focused and confident for the rest of the season as much as he can. Bony lacks confidence and his finishing is indicative of that and fan unrest as it slowly dawns on even the most optimistic of us that he isn't good enough for MCFC circa 2015/16. I hope he'll be gone by the summer but right now we need to get behind him...However hard that increasingly is.

Everybody is behind him, it's just that we watch matches and realize that he's been awful.

And if I were MP I might go back to what worked last December and play w/o a striker. A front of Silva, Navas, Sterling and KDB would trouble any side.

I agree that at times he looks like he couldn't trap a bag of cement, but nobody scores 20 plus goals in the Premier League against "cannon fodder". He isn't the type of player we need though. He'd be brilliant for Stoke.

Does all the hard work but his finishing needs improving a lot! Should have buried then two chances in the first half, hit them with enough power but just couldn't aim in between the two posts!

He really should have scored the second one but tried to burst a hole in the back of the net instead of picking the spot. I dont know why he needed he smash the ball like that.

He always goes for power, whether it's for show or he just can't place it I don't know but both chances he really should have tested the keeper!

had huge doubts when we were linked to him. He's just not right for us and I can see him being sold end of season
