Bony is not a poor player , but he isnt a good fit for our tactics , he is averaging a goal every other game , in a team that doesnt play to his strengths , whoever recruited Bony should have realised his style of play is totally alien to our one touch , tippy tappy footy , it appears there are a few fans who want Bony out ,but blaming the player when MP and txiki have bought square peg for a round hole is ridiculous , and the fact we have paid nearly £30m and big wages , just accentuates the problem .When Bony does eventually leave , i hope he gets club who will play to his strengths , because if he does, he will score a hatful , he is a decent player , but unfortunately we will never see it , with our style of football.

Lol! People need to look past the fact that do half the match he was shit, missed a sitter and a pen.
Not counting the other half a million chances in countless other matches for the past 18 months!

The two misses were bad, but you can't judge the guy purely based on those. Everyone misses sitters from time to time, he still scored and had a hand in virtually everything going forward during the first half which resulted in us effectively winning the game in the first 45 minutes. He deserves credit for that, not to be slagged off for missing 2 chances. Second half he wasn't great and the misses were bad misses but overall in the second half he was no worse than the rest of the team. The game was won, we stopped attacking, and it became a keep ball session, i'm guessing to save energy for the Leicester game in 3 days time.

Finally, not sure why you're judging him on the last 18 months when he's been at City less than a year. Slating players for missing chances whilst he's at another club is a new one. Even the likes of Dzeko didn't get that much stick on here.

This is what i've said many times, against Sevilla away and at a push, today for the first 45 are literally the only times where i feel we've played in a way that suits Bony. He's not suddenly changed since his Swansea days we knew what we were getting and we wanted that kind of player so why the hell aren't we using him correctly? More questions for our manager imo. Just like our defending makes our defenders look shit, playing as if Aguero is upfront is making Bony look shit. I hope he stays as i think a new manager will use him correctly and we'll see what a good player we have.

If Bony and Aguero were both injured, Nacho wouldn't start. Navas would play and Sterling would go up front.

It's clear that the management don't think Nacho is quite ready for more football, they probably know better than us, but even if they are wrong, I think it's absolutely hilarious that people have decided to put the blame for that on Bony.

Pellegrini is Playing Bony ahead of Iheanacho because he thinks he's better,
Not because he cost £25m
In your opinion.

Not in mine.

Pellegrini has no interest in holistic longevity. And Nacho has been far better than Bony when in the team.

You'll get the same bollocks that the Dzeko fans came out with ("we aren't playing to his strengths"). Well no. We aren't. Which is why he should be sold and why we should play with a nimble skilful striker instead.

Either way, playing to his strengths or not, he shouldn't be missing the sitters he is every time he plays.

Still has no idea where to move to when we attack, dreadful at shooting (reminds me of Vasell .....shudders), no brain he was happy to stand and watch their keeper with the ball at his feet, no workrate, can't take a pen.

Not upto our standards, I was hoping he'd produce for us but its not going to happen.
For me this is his worst fault, the number of times we got players free down the wings, be it Sterling, KdB or Kolarov, and Bony seemed to have no idea when or where to make his runs, he's a striker FFS. The period after the missed pen was embarrassing, I even started to feel sorry for him, every touch or pass was a mistake.
