Not sure it's fair to compare a keeper who largely gets to make passes unopposed, to a forward who is under immediate pressure when he gets the ball. It's comparing apples and oranges.

It's not really fair to compare but I would suggest the unfairness comes from the fact that the majority of the keepers unopposed passes are 60 yard punts to short arses.

Indeed.

Bony's 'pass completion' will include headers & flick ons which didn't find a man, made with Robert Huth stuck up his arse fighting for a 50/50 ball lumped toward him. Aguero's was given as 90 odd % as he didn't really fight for anything in the air & miscontrolled everything with his back to goal not even getting a pass away.

Misleading imo.

The second worst completion stats for an outfield player on the City team was over 20% more than Bony. Yes they do include headers but a target man needs to find his team mates some of the time.

Well he did. But it's not so easy when most of them are 20 yards deeper & none of them are running in behind or playing anywhere near him. He would have found Vardy alright, as all he'd have to do is flick it on & he'd be on it.

Ours are stood watching.

Well eight goals this season is double what Dzeko managed. More than Rooney, Costa, Benteke, Martial, Kane and Sturridge.

You're having a go at a player when there's no reason to do so.

You have said that now few times, at least get your stats right. Dzeko managed (6goals total) 4 goals in PL last season played 932minutes and Bony has the same amount of PL goals so far with 814 minutes played. Not really sure why you are comparing him to Dzeko.

Lets hope Bony comes good , like Dzeko did endless times while he played for City.

For all Bony's faults, and they are numerous, I don't really understand why he's being made the scapegoat for tonight. If he'd missed a load of sitters it would make more sense, but it was a collective "failure" tonight (albeit a draw against the second placed team in the league).

I think its just as much the frustration that most would like to see kelechi given a chance instead of Bony.

Yeah, that's a fair point. I would much rather see Iheanacho given a real chance, but it's not the Pellegrini way. I just hope the next manager puts more faith in youth. His track record suggests he will.

If only we had another to make him 4th....but that might actually be your point :)

yep that's my point mate ;-)

We have come here from the heady days of Sergio, Carlos, Mario and Edin? Now that's a full complement of strikers!!

We've gone backwards significantly in the striker department......
