My personal opinion:
I don't think his style of play, movement and flexibility is in par with our style and level. He was a panic buy and will not succeed with City. Nacho is more suited and I wondered why didn't he start ahead of Bony. Bony wouldn't have scored that goal against CP in a million years, his positioning and striker-runs are rare. He does show moments of brilliance though, like that dummy to keep the ball rolling for Silva. Honestly, Dzeko is so damn frustrating, and I was happy to see him go (As much as I wanted him to succeed), but to compare Bony to Dzeko is a joke. Dzeko, with all his negatives, is a much better natural striker.
Nacho to start ahead of Bony for me, at least he will hassle defense and help with his work rate. Bony is too slow, too passive.
