Please someone think of a chant for Bony... That one we have tried singing recently is the worst chant I have ever heard in my life, I don't even know what tune it is to?!

Wilfried Bonyy Wilfried Bonyy, it's painful!

He was poor last night no doubt but so was pretty much every City player IMO. The service he got was non existent (from a midfield that managed to neither create nor protect the defence) and he isn't a striker like Aguero who can create stuff for himself out of nothing, he needs a decent service. The good chance he missed looked tougher than maybe I originally thought as watching the highlights seemed Yaya swinging and missing at it put him off. I still think he will prove to be reasonable back up to Aguero because he will get his fair share of goals per performance. His all round game isn't the best though.

A complete miss-kick shouldn't be counted as an 'assist'.

And do you not think any capable striker wouldn't have scored against Bournemouth? Kelchi would've bagged a hattrick!
Well, being in the right place and being alert enough to poke a leg at the right time is part of what you want from a striker, but not to be confrontational, I do agree he is a more limited striker than Aguero, but probably the best you could expect as a backup.

Bournemouth had conceded one goal or fewer in 5 / 8 premier league matches before bony scored two and set up a third for our team.

What surprised me most about Bony last night was how he wasn't imposing himself physically, either in the air or elsewhere. He is a big, burly player. Missing chances is one thing. But that — making his physical presence felt — doesn't seem like too much to ask.

Kelechi has better movement and looks more of a threat on the field. Bony reminds me of a tree.
Hopeful for him as a prospect, he may well be ahead of bony in a few years with experience.
I think we are just a bit spoilt seeing Aguero, can't expect our 2nd striker to be as complete. But he is an improvement over dzeko in holding the ball and looks to have a decent eye for goal. And has a good track record with injuries. All very important as Aguero gets injured so often.

I thought that after Saturday when he scored, time to kick on,now there is big pressure on him to score this Sunday now,he's capable let's just hope he does

I don't think there's pressure on him to score. We're creating plenty of chances and we've had a fair few goals come from midfield. He just needs to improve his finishing because one of these days the midfield will miss their chances and we'll look to the strikers to take perhaps the one chance they get. He's getting into the right positions and though he wasn't as good last night he's still a threat and the goals will come. He'll start finding that consistency the more he starts.

If he's upfront on Sunday, which he will be,he's gotta score,I'd fancy my chances against that shite defence they have, and I truly believe he will do

They've conceded 8 goals in 9 games... and 3 of those were against Arsenal. Their defence has actually been their strength this season so far. Personally I think Bony will have to play incredibly well to get the best of Smalling who tends to play well against the stronger forwards but struggles against quicker, tricky strikers (like Aguero and Walcott). It's why I'd stick Sterling behind Bony and look for Bony to drag Smalling out of position (and Smalling is easily drawn out of defence) and then play Sterling in who will profit from the space in behind.

The result against Sevilla was good the performance not so much and that's a good thing. It means we'll be in good spirits but not overly confident as we know we'll have to play better. That, couple with a trip back from Moscow makes us favourites to win in my opinion. It will be interesting to see whether Rooney starts on Sunday.
