I just cannot see what Pellegrini sees in Bony as an impact sub, Iheanacho has more energy and more awareness in the opposition area, for me he was the more obvious sub last night for the last 25 mins or so if Aguero had to go off. But then Pellegrini's subs seem to be generally predictable and not based on the match situation at the time. Not great as a sub, just doesn't get into the game,i would have started him and given sergio second 45 against tired legs he would have been a great impact even though he is not fully fit
When i remember how many Edin goals from bench score, Is Negredo left in same time with Edin or before. And that 2 min for Nacho was pheeew. We need striker and i would love Pogba also so i dont watch Yaya ( who is done great deal to us) walking half of match , hes slowing our attacks and counters now also.I just cannot see what Pellegrini sees in Bony as an impact sub, Iheanacho has more energy and more awareness in the opposition area, for me he was the more obvious sub last night for the last 25 mins or so if Aguero had to go off. Iheanacho is regarded as a good prospect now by City fans. Had been used more often he'd probably have been written off. Needs to be brought through gradually, and get more game time, but it's difficult trying to fit 3 strikers into one position.I just cannot see what Pellegrini sees in Bony as an impact sub, Iheanacho has more energy and more awareness in the opposition area, for me he was the more obvious sub last night for the last 25 mins or so if Aguero had to go off. Bony is the 2nd choice because a) he's scoring and b) he can hold the ball up and bring other players into the game c) he can defend at set pieces

I think it partly depends on whether the opposition defence are tiring or not. Bony helped to destroy a fading Broussia as an impact sub!
