Player Topic: Willy Caballero (2015/2016)

I think he rates them both roughly the same, he has always maintained that there is no official number 1 at the club. Of course Hart gets more game time but I think that is because he was already first choice when Pellegrini arrived and he probably didn't want to risk being unpopular by dropping a fans favorite. When he did drop Hart the media were whinging and moaning for weeks until he put him back in goal. If there wasn't so much resistance I think Hart would've been replaced by now.

Back away from the crack pipe. Just say no.

There have been some fundamentally wrong posts on Bluemoon over the years but this one is right up there. Joe Hart isn't perfect but, when it comes to the World's best goalkeepers, he's in the upper echelons. Willy Caballero isn't. Manuel Neuer is the best keeper in the game at present, but you've then got a pack of impressive keepers behind him including De Gea, Courtois, Buffon, Cech, Hart and possibly Lloris. Caballero isn't in the same group, or even close to that group.

Yeah I think that's exactly how it's panned out. Had England's number one and arguably up their with the best keepers in Europe not already been number one then Willy would have strolled in...Jesus wept.
