Not at all. If Yaya plays all next season like he has these last couple of games I will be as delighted as the next man, but let's have some realism in the debate.

He's had over 1/2 season to show us what he has these last two weeks, so what's changed.

If you take the view that Pogba is being lined up as the replacement for Lampard from yesterday's starting XI (and Sterling for Milner), it makes sense to keep Yaya. We would still need at least one more HG player brought in but that could be Lopes for Jovetic or Rose/Cresswell for Kolarov etc etc. I don't believe we will want to bring in more than 5 in so keeping at least 1 if not 2 of Nasri/Ya Ya/Dzeko makes sense.

I can see Juve selling Vidal and keeping Pogba for another season. Maybe they were expecting more bidders, maybe they think if FFP falls apart completely over the summer, Pogba has a great season and stays injury free, they could get 100m+ next season.

I've firmly been of the opinion that Yaya needs to be sold this summer, but if he is staying I hope it is not at the sacrifice of any our transfer targets!

I really hope we're still in for Pogba, Wilshere, Sterling and De-Bruyne and Yaya can compliment those faces. If we had Yaya in the squad/team but he was not deemed so important, I think we could be on to a winner.
