Funny big goal it's not exactly scoring the only goal against Stoke in the final , or them red cunts in the semi and add the 2 against Newcastle , oh and 20 goals he scored when we won it again , he as won us more trophies than any other player , Silva as scored against fucking Hull , and scored a great goal against West Ham

So because yaya has been magnificent in the past and scored big goals that have helped put us where we are, we should ignore the last 12 months or so where he's been average at best and a liability at others?
Nah, not for me. Top player whose given me some wonderful memories but I'm not going to ignore whats gone on in front of my eyes time and time again game after game.

As I say, every assist that season, when winning on GD was a big goal.

But this is about Yaya and the only thing I wanted to add was that his speech was ill advised and he could probably do with someone pulling him to oneside and having a word with him.

No, don't ignore the last 12 months, however the level of abuse he gets is fucking shocking. The language, the pure vitriol is beyond belief for a player who has given so much to the club. By all means question his form, but I'd suggest that a lot of the stuff on here goes beyond that.

He has been simply magnificent for our club. But "has" is the important bit. He still can contribute but MP has to manage this situation better, and the infamous Yaya ego ! In my opinion he is a passenger in most games now with the odd sprinkling of magic (eg Watford equaliser) but it's not enough these days. Play him for 60 mins or bring him on as an impact sub for some matches. But certainly I don't "think we should pay him some more". He is no longer "earning" his c£220,000 per week ! Some of my pals earn that in 10 years and graft hard for 40 hours plus a week. Makes you think.....

That was Silva, though Yaya has undoubtedly proven his worth during his time with us. His absolute peak, both with us & his career in general, was the 13/14 season. Take THOSE goals away...

Maybe this is the kick up the arse he needs, to see that he isn't a shoe in for African player of the year, or indeed a regular starter in the team, and Pellers should tell him to start acting like a captain, and not a fifth wheel during games, we need a leader on the pitch in Vinny's protracted absence
