Watching Arsenal v Spurs and Yaya would be useless in either team as they actually run when they get the ball.

He has been brilliant for us but his legs have gone and we need somebody with more drive.

Yet against Sevilla it was one of his best City games ever. So it's more about using him at the right time, in the right system etc.

I like Pellegrini but one of his biggest weaknesses is not being even-handed. Leaves Nacho out because he won't chuck his toys out of the pram and plays Yaya regardless. Making him vice captain was a serious error of judgment.

Apart from 5 days ago when he put in his best performance of the season And putting away the 89th pen min winner 8 days ago.

If he is poor and not good enough, which I dispute, is it his fault or Pellegrini's for playing him?

I think he was the least impactful player vs sevilla actually,. Fernandinho made a larger attacking footprint. I don't like Yaya in this position at all. Hoping the Sevilla performance which for me had more to do with the wingers and fernandinho isn't constantly used to defend placing him in no.10. A position he clearly isn't suited for, and lacks the positional discipline to play. Kept dropping deep and forcing fernandinho to cover his more forward position. Should never be there ahead of someone like De Bruyne.

I think he is afraid to drop him as he will undoubtedly throw his toys out of the pram.
The press would love this, and could cause problems within the club with his attitude.

Just needs to go as he's hindering the team with his continued presence. He can't play in a two, he can't play in a three. He's just not worth the amount of tactical gymnastics we apparently have to do "allow" him to play well every now and again. I don't remember him running even once today

Yep, clearly hindered us all the way to the top of the league; next round of CL and QF of League Cup. The guy’s nothing but a liability.
