14 of their fans were charged with manslaughter. Which tbh was a pisstake as it should of been murder. And most of the ****s served no sentence.Sorry if already posted but this is post from a liverpool fan on ragcafe in response to liverpool being responsible for Heysel. The nerve they have to moan about a song. Offended by everything. ashamed of nothing. He was banned straightaway.
"Thats your defence for Heysel? FFS
Heysel happened because asshole Juventus supporters decided to go to war with Liverpool supporters, naturally the Liverpool supporters are not going to stand there and let these italian pricks have their own way so they fought back. During that fight a wall fell and Juventus supporters died. Naturally Liverpool supporters were blamed for that.
So many people pick up on the "Liverpool cost us European places for years". No they didnt, the fecking asshole italian ultras did. They got into a fight that they lost, miserably and horribly. Like many fans in the euros when the russians went on a rampage, they targeted english fans. That was ok? no, thanks to social media and the like, more people were made aware, back in the 70's though, not so much.
Heysel happened because of italian assholes who thought they could pick on the innocent, they paid for it. A shame? yes, but they would not have died if they were not such pricks to start with.
It was easy though to blame it on the Liverpool supporters, being from England and at that time having a horrible reputation for hooliganism, our FA and Government didnt know the facts of what happened, only that it was easy to blame the Liverpool supporters and accepted any punishment that was handed down."
+197 points,
lost it to the Blues,
hacking our emails,
lying in the news.
our players sang this song,
cos the Dippers crossed the line,
bricked our player's coach,
and killed the 39.
Allez, Allez, Allez
eh?I have received many replies about my last post, I will answer in this post:
- Nope, losing the league didn't hurt , we knew that after the utd game it was over , we still had hope of course but it didn t hurt that "much" the last day as it was obvious ( 14 wins on a row from your team).
- It s okay between fans to mock each others , we are fans and each winning team fans earn the right to celebrate as they please, however those players are highly paid professionals and it s somehow childish from them to say the least, they have to behave and act as role models.
- I will not comment on the allegedly Sean Cox & hillsborough related chant as it s something that destroyed many famillies in merseyside and a trial is still going on, as for Sean , those things are well beyond football, it s about human lives and peoples that suffred and still suffer from it.
- So whatever this chant is/was about , professional players should act better than that, they can sing it behind closed doors if they want but taking such an ambiguous song on the internet for everyone to see should not be done like that, it s still ambiguous and open to broad interpretations , bear in mind that many victims famillies got hurt from it especially coming from rival players that most of us still held them in high regard after the back to back 198 points title, there may be hate , insults and mockery sometimes between fans but coming from well respected professionals , yes it hurts to say the least.
