Players allegedly singing “Allez” song

Everybody knows it's nothing to do with the fan who was hospitalised, Liverpool fans included, they are taking advantage of the fact that some of it is left open to interpretation, disingenuously so. Anyone with half a brain can see that.

We had one of our own fans on the wrong end of something this year in Germany I seem to remember. Nobody is saying he deserved any of that, we are saying they are twisting it to make themselves the victims yet again and they can all fuck off with that quite frankly.

Even trying to make anything of people saying they do behave like twats which puts the innocent fans in danger on occasion, when they go abroad, is equally twisting it.

Yesterday some of their own were tweeting, wishing our players plane had crashed, with references to a certain other air crash included.

Absolute non story, and shows exactly why they’re known by football fans everywhere as ‘victims’. Ashamed of nothing and offended by everything.

And since Sean Cox has been brought into this, I would suggest that Liverpool fans themselves have a certain amount of blame to take, because if they hadn’t been setting themselves up as some kind of fucking ultras, lining the streets and bricking coaches, basically sending the message to other dickheads that they’re up for a bit trouble then maybe, just maybe Roma ultras wouldn’t have turned up mob handed, tooled up, and intent on trouble.
I don't read anything in this post suggesting Cox deserved what he got.

Can't deny that mate, and I agree. Just think we can respond without stooping to their level.

I'll be singing it when it gets an airing or two on Saturday.
Fuck me we'll have to fall a long way to reach their level

In fairness even though we can say its not about Sean Cox and Hillsborough all we want but its still close to perpetuating both incidents. The bloke was battered in the streets outside Anfield and Victims originated as a direct response to Hillsborough and the tabloids wrongly blaming Liverpool fans. Even if its not about Sean Cox having our players sing a chant about fans getting beaten up in general is pretty poor PR.

Whilst we can say its all about Kiev and the build up we know full well the Kompany injured Salah part anything to do with Kiev. Our club statement hasn't covered us in Glory either.

Sniff

To me the battered in the streets reference was them not thinking Roma wasn't watching them acting billy big bollocks against us smashing our coach up, they tried to kick off with Roma fans who were more than ready for them. That's it, it's not referencing any individual fan.
Battered in the streets has absolutely nothing to do with the Roma game
