Players Funding Coach Travel to FA Cup Final

Would £10 off every ticket really help anyone? £10? Come on...

This is from the players. It will really help some people who would otherwise have to fork out £50. Those of us who drive or can afford the train would have already sorted transport out. Great gesture by our brilliant players.

I think it will help a lot of families who don’t go to get shitfaced. Wouldn’t suit me but a decent gesture. Do any other clubs subsidise Wembley ticket prices? I’ve never heard of that.

Nice gesture by the club and players, but no doubt the media and other fans will find a way to turn this into a negative

Good for travelling families and maybe older fans... but not for me, prefer to do my own thing with freedom to come and go as I please

But well done City

You and Mayo should go to Wembley and sit next to each other on the coach and have a right good fucking moan about the Club, you two would be a barrel of laughs, ffs, give it a rest.

Lets see the moans if season card prices are increased just after this nice 'gesture'.

The club does fuck all in reality to help the regular fans with regard ticket prices or travel.

The price of the FA cup final tickets are a disgrace so the club could have helped all out with a subsidy.

I love a good moan also so Corky can sit with me if they want

The rags were charged £102 for the CL quarters by Barca and subsidised their fans albeit for a smaller amount of fans than we will have at Wembley. Firstly the FA have to have a look at their pricing strategy. If they really want to encourage families etc to attend then they have to make tickets affordable especially when you also have to factor in travel costs. It’s already costing me and my daughter about £150 for travel and the cheapest tickets would add another 90 quid. How can that be justified? We then have food etc to add on. Secondly all clubs should be pushing the FA on pricing and making them more aware of what the typical fan is like with regards to salaries etc. Thirdly a better gesture from the club would be to subsidise all tickets by at least £30. That would cost the club just less than a million and given the wage bill is about £5m a week it is a few days salary - surely thats not too much to ask is it

Nice gesture, that unfortunately misses the mark for us who facilitate travel in numbers of City fans to every game. Can't please everyone.

Mayo is right here, he does a big job, plans and organises for every match. Regular match attenders, hard yards. Free coaches, not a initiative suited to us who organise. No problem, maybe something universal should have been considered.

What is not recognised here, is the travelling with your group, the same can be said whether Middleton, Chadderton, Cheltenham, Baguley and Brookland, Irlam, Reddish, Stockport and Bredbury, Rusholme, Failsworth and many many minibuses, plus others of course. (Sorry if I missed anyone)

I might lose a couple, but those who went Spurs at Wembley in the league, free buses, know the score compared to travelling with us, they are back.

YES THE FA SHOULD INTRODUCE £20 IS PLENTY...£250 tik for cup final is a joke.
The free coach travel was not a gesture by the club but the players.
Our support is skint..the price of success...but dont blame the club.
you quote the rags...the rags make you enter all cup scheme and do not sell a £299 season ticket nor sell cup tickets at the prices city do.
Yes my seasoncard has gone up every year and should be frozen....but it still averaged around £22 per game.
STOP MOANING
