Players I'd rather have than RSC

Has to go down as one of our the worst signings. All the forwards were greedy today including our beloved Tev but Crocky was the worst by a mile. Like Pleat said at least he wasn't signed by Mancini.

Because the surface was shite we were trying to play the ball longer, Tevez cannot do that. We bring on Santa Cruz and he won almost every ball played to him. Not only that he held the ball up, bringing the midfield into the game , which we were not doing before that.

This ^

His finishing was poor but he was not alone on that count. He has not been at his best since joining but there are times at Blackburn when he was unplayable. If you are looking for players to criticise today then I think you need look no further than SWP and Micah who both had very poor games.

Hughes bought him at blackburn for £3.5 million. then re-signed him at city for £17.5 million.............FUCKING HELL! gotta be citys worst buy ever

Am I the only one who thought he had a giood game ? thought he was more of a threat than Tev today !

Nope.

People are calling him for that last minute blast that was well off target..Tevez and Bellamy did exactly the same thing earlier in the game. RSC won nearly every ball and was able to hold it up bringing the midfield into the game. is it me or were we the better team in the second half as a result

& Martin Buster Phillips will be the first £10,000,000 player.
How long ago did we sign Lee Badbuy?
Did you ever see laurent Charvet have a good game? I did, he was wearing Black and white stripes at the time so we signed him.
Robbie Foulup, I will now try and get fit, after we lost our best chairman for a generation because of signing him.......

Worst buy ever?
I dont think so somehow.

He was off the pace on the finishing aspect of his game today but he did win alot of headers and his hold up play was quite good. He seems the kind of player who builds up his performances with regular games but due to his injury record and Adebayor to return.....i dont see him doing it with us.

It was a poor move from us to spend that kinda cash though, Hughes worst purchase.

You lot need to look at the wider picture here, yes he was shite infront of goal, still looks immobile but this prob due to the fact that he has had 2 long term lay offs and prob played less than 400 mins for us this season.

He won the majority of balls that were pumped up to him creating chances for tevez , bellers etc, dragged defenders out of postion so bellers, swp, tevez etc had space to run into, he contirbuted to the the teams performance more than others did today.

is he a thirty goal a season man for us prob not, but if we can get him fit he is a decent asset to be bringing on....

People who are saying they would rather have corradi or samaras need to get real, get of the guys back and support your team whilst we still have something to play for this season.

Don,t knock RSC after a good hour !!
Fuck me what about that useless "I DESERVE MORE MONEY" SWEEP !!!!!!!!!
Absolute joke he,s becoming !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A lot of you cunts will be grovelling once RSC is given a good run out.Not only did he win balls in the air but most went to a blue shirt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This thread just about shows the amount of footballing knowledge some people on here have.

He was the focal point of most of our attacks. He held the ball up really well, he won flick ons and he brought Bellamy and Tevez into the game, who for the first 30 minutes, were shite.

The only think he did wrong was he didn't take his chances when they presented themselves. That's mainly down to lack of match practice.

Some people on here are clueless.

Awful game from him today. Really have no clue how anyone can think he played well.

That said, I do think if we can get him fit and confident he is not a bad option to have hanging around.

Worth what we paid for him? Not in a million lifetimes. Not his fault though. £3.5m was a bargain, £18m was a disgrace. Somewhere around £6m and we'd have done decent business.

Still reckon that call was one of the major factors in us changing management. Colossal waste of money sadly.

Thought second half (to finish on a positive) we played about as well as we have this season. Great game from Craig Gordon kept them in it. We are starting to figure out how Bobby wants us to play and I think we are not a million miles away from clicking and finishing the season on fire.

Vieira did very well too. Has a bit more class than the other central options - can still pick out a hell of a pass... Must be involved when fit.

He's a good player, how about letting him get a few games under his belt before you slag him rotten?

for f**ks sake

which game were you watching?

this bloke is absolutely clueless......he can't control the ball, he can't pass,he can't shoot

IMHO when he played for Blackburn he was an average player in a below average team

I thought he did ok, we improved massively when he came on because he gave us an outlet, his chest control was very good and he won his fair share of headers. Allowed us to build some attacks rather than relying on giving the ball to Bellamy, Tevez or SWP and getting them to run forwards in a straight line, head down.

Not that it matters to some people who just want to slag someone off, he's an easy target because of his injury record, who bought him and the price we paid.

It is impossible to defend the guy. Not only is he injury prone, he also sucks when he does play. He couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.
Hes fuckin shit..... I fuckin hate the guy.... right at the end the t**t went to fucking try and score a wonder goal with 30 seconds left when he could have easily passed it to the side and try to build a final attack... hes a complete d******d

What a tool you really are! He gave everything today and didn't play half as bad as some of you clowns are saying
