Players that feel like they never played for us.

Saw Bellamy on the debate the other day and he said he was “lucky enough to have played for the club” and we have “great fans”. I think the way he left us is easier for a lot to remember than what he did for us. I however thought he was great as in sure most blues do.
I liked him when he played for us and think he’s a good pundit, however, when he played for us there were loads of changing room/training ground “leaks” to the press and strangely when he left it stopped.

Paul Stewart
Stuart Pearce
Peter Schmeichel
Paul Bosvelt
Didi Hamman

Peter Beardsley

I must have been in my absolute full drinking stage because I can not remember him in a City shirt in the slightest and was taken aback years after when checking his wiki page for something else and seen he had played for us, I was utterly shocked as he was a hero of mine when he played for Carlisle Utd.

I remember him going to Hartlepool as there was strong talk of him coming back "home" to Carlisle and that was in the same year as he had been at City on loan.

Scary lol

Some players acted like they were too big for city. Bellamy acted like he was too big for every club.

Yeh but give me players like Bellamy and Tevez over the likes of Robinho anyday. Loved their passion and I always felt we had a chance of winning any game when they played.

Beardsley for deffo I cant imagine him playing in a blue shirt. Oh and how can we forget Mcpointalot ? as far as i know he's never referenced us at all. Its like the scouse wanker has erased us from his memory.
