I'd completely forgotten that, but apparently he signed a 3 month rolling contact in September 01. Don't think he ever even made the bench, though.

The one match in that period where you might have expected him to get a run out was the Notts County league cup game on 9/11 - but I was at that and he definitely wasn't in the squad.
