Man City locked in talks with Bologna over Gaston Ramirez
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Tue, 05/29/2012 - 12:09
Manchester City are closing in on Bologna winger Gaston Ramirez.

TMW says City boss Roberto Mancini and his agent Giorgio de Giorgis are locked in talks with Bologna sports chief Roberto Zanzi over a fee for the Uruguay international.

De Giorgis is also close to Ramirez's agent, Pablo Bentacourt, and discussions have already been held about the player's plans for the summer market.

I wonder how good the average bluemooner would look playing footie in the Argentinian second division. Not bad, I'd bet.... :-D

We've clarified that in other threads but people have suggested him on the back of City being linked with him. You've got to ply your trade somewhere.

Ah, didnt know that people had suggested him because a random South American news agency / Rivers PR department had made up a story about us being interested in him (in order to solicit interest).

My mistake. I shall have to pay more attention, you're right. :-D

<goes off to ply wonderfully sarcastic trade elsewhere>
