Big loss. May not be an automatic starter but always has an impact on a game.

I don't think we wanted to lose him either and only sold him because he was unhappy. I'd have thought we'd have been able to get £15m plus. Sunderland got him on the cheap. This time last season they paid £9m for Connor Whickham

Ffs Johnson was average to good....

City have the best finance team in place, we've just won the league - we get slagged if we spend and don't sell, then we get slagged if we sell and don't spend - cant win.

Am I sad to see Johnson go? Not really I don't think he offered any more than any other average/good winger - has a good shot - but couldn't really beat a player and go on to do anything consistently. Fk him - done more talking off pitch than on it.
