Players want Mancini out - The Sun (Bullsh*t)

Re: Players want Mancini out - The Sun

Some fans need to realise that City are big news now. We are gonna be a target for scumbag tabloid journos. Get used to it.

Back the manager, back the players and let the journos print what they like. Only way to shut them up is by getting results on the park.

Re: Players want Mancini out - The Sun

I don't think just because the article is in The Sun you can dismiss it out of hand.

I think a lot of people are in denial at the moment. They want to believe that everything is rosy in the garden and they really desperately want to believe that every bit of negative press is pure fabrication because the world at large has an agenda against our club.

Unfortunately, all indications to me are that we have a squad of players who are not 'together'. We have players falling out with each other, others out on the lash, we have huge disparities in wages and only once or twice this season, have we seen that team actaully play as a team.

Make of that what you will and blame who you want but it's the managers responsibility to get it all together. His post match interview on Saturday suggested that he was totally at a loss to know what to do next.

From all the evidence I can see, I can fully believe that relations between the manager and many of our players are severely strained. There is plenty of evidence from people I know who are close to the club that many players just do not understand where he is coming from, what his tactical plans are supposed to be, and more importantly, they cannot warm to his man management skills.

Whether this is the fault of Mancini or simply a work-shy set of players, I don't know, but there clearly is a rift and something has to be done sooner or later or this club is going to implode.

If this is true, I don't think Mancini will be here much longer.

It's obviously easier for the club to sack one man than to sell a load of unhappy players.

so you read an article in ther sun that has an un-named 'insider' as its source and you believe it?

Can you not read? He said "if".

Re: Players want Mancini out - The Sun

Alan Hansen sums it up perfectly in the Telegraph this morning.

He wonders why when there was a golfing trip to St Andrews, only 4 players went??

There is no team spirit, no togetherness, surely its the managers job to instil this??

Does make you think ....imagine if we had someone in the dressing room who had a relation working for the sun......Hmmmm

Re: Players want Mancini out - The Sun

Funny how the number of 'leaks' has seemingly increased since Platt came in.

I think we'd be foolish to dismiss the story out of hand though the reality is probably closer to a few unhappy players wanting change and not a whole squad rebellion like it suggests.

As for Yaya and his agent they can both fuck off. If he was that concerned about winning he'd try a bit harder instead of wandering around wondering how he could possibly spend all his money.
