Players we have made a profit/loss on

I would list the players City have sold at a fee less than we bought them for. But I don't think Bluemoon has the bandwidth, to be honest. There are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds.

In terms of players we've sold at an increased fee, I can only think of Paul Stewart and Gio Kinkladze.

I'm sure there must be more, but I don't know if any other club has a history of poor buys and cheap sales like us.

Why is this? I'd say there are several good reasons.

One thing to add to this, we'll never make a profit on a player again either, not on the massive purchases. AJ, if he ever went to a bigger club, we could get a profit on him, but not many off the others.

Course, we're all forgetting about the £10m we got for Buster Phillips, oh hang on.......

I suppose we now make money on surplus academy players - we used to make a few hundred K on the likes of Lee Croft etc. Now we offer great deals to clubs for the likes of Onouha and Ireland.

Luckily these days it doesn't matter too much, but in the past poor transfer business nearly ruined the club.

Poor managers, poor directors and constant unheaval have been the root cause.

I am dissapointed that we didn't sell some more people, i.e Bellamy, Given Cruz, Bridge but it's fine. Makes me a bit mad that we can't sell them because of there wages though.
