Players who might improve us

Angelino would be a lot better now that we have four genuinely top class CBs. Lots of people is saying that he wouldn`t work here because he`s been playing a lot as a LWB, but that`s what he would do here for 90% of the time. (He`s played in 4atb formations this season as well.) With a little coaching, his defending would easily be better than Zinchenko. The train has passed now with Leipzig's obligation to buy, but I think we let him go too early. The 16m fee is absolutely laughable. Bigger clubs will be bidding 40m+ for him in a season or two, I`m 100% sure of that. He`s HG as well and really loves City, just a shame that the CBs were shite when he was here. Mendy, Angelino and Ake would be three very different, but great options

Yeah, not sure if he'd work here or not, but the terms of the loan are ridiculous and the amount we'll get is a fraction of what he's worth. Think we let him go too easily.

In fact, given the amount of talent that Southampton have found over the years, I'd be tempted to buy their coaches as well :)

We need to sign the best Left & Right wingers in the world in January.


Relying on Sterling as LW & Mahrez RW will only help to increase our frustration.
 
What are the thoughts on Tavernier ( Rangers ) - his stats are quite remarkable for a fullback. Takes a deadly set piece.

yes, I know some will say it’s a ‘pub league’ - but to me it was obvious van dijk was a good player up there.....a good player is a good player regardless of what league they play in
