If we’re not having a huge summer in terms of outlay, this would be great value for money:

Milinkovic-Savic 50m
Maddison 40m
Guerreiro free

Assuming Cancelo & Bernardo go, we’d just about break even. Anything extra would go towards a pacy winger & a CB if any left in the summer.

Which maddison is 40 m ? They were talking about the one at Leicester costing more than Chelsea have spent on the prems most expensive player.

His midfield and link-up work is exceptional and he scores goals.

Pep wanted him for a reason, and I'm pretty sure that he wishes he had him. He's the leader on the pitch that we sadly lack this season.

Not sure if it would be more a case of amuse than improve but there’s a certain Brazilian left back called Marcelo currently available on a free transfer - according to BBC Sport.
Not that we tend towards playing left backs at left back of course.

If Southampton goes down this season I would suggest to get James Ward-Prowse cheap. He is not world class of course. But he is a seasoned PL player and a very hard working team player. And he has brilliant set piece. Very ideal rotation option when we face mid lower table team if they park bus. Also useful to come on in the last 30 mins if we cannot break a bus. Home grown and I think he will accept to be a squad player.

I would say sell or rent KP out. Buy back Lavia and buy James Ward-Prowse. Spend big on fullbacks and Bellingham if possible. ( I have a bad feeling Jude will choose Liverpool)

I'm not sure but it does seem the norm these days when moving the kids on.

Got ti say Harry Kane is quality and he would have been a better fit than haaland but haaland will grow into our system if he gives it the tine. Hopefully we will fresh legs into midfield to allow haaland to do his thing .

Aouar - Lyon
Laimer - Leipzig
N'Dicka - Frankfurt
Guerreiro - Dortmund
Thuram - Gladbach
Grimaldo - Benfica

Laimer would be a good Kalvin Phillips replacement on a free. Kamada is a very interesting choice, rate him highly. A good left back could also be picked up for free.

Other alternatives that would cost a fair bit of money. Don't think we have been strongly linked recently with any of these...
