Players who might improve us

He's a very good footballer. I'm not sure a traditional FB, but as a Cancelo type creative one, it could work. But City may not want to weaken Girona next season too.

If not we then somebody else will that, Barca and Atletico already getting chirpy at some of the players

He can definitely play as a traditinal full-back. And as somebody else already has pointed out, if we don’t sign him then somebody else probably will

There is some agreement with Madrid. What I read online says they own 50% of his rights. Not really sure what that means. 50% of any future fee?

I trust you know better than me, but the handful of times I watched him, I didn't get the feeling he would survive as a traditional left back, but under a creative manager like Pep and Michel he would flourish.
 
summer window:

Rodri cover (all-phase midfielder)
Bernardo replacement.
Another wide option.
Ortega replacement if he goes.
Possibly another left/right full-back perhaps one that can go forward.

Who I’d look at
Neves/Bruno G
Paqueta
Robinson (seems an easy one) also like Ait-Nouri
Olise and Eze (I love both)


Don’t need that much change as I think Bernardo will be the only high-profile departure maybe Walker but he would be easier to replace. Think it’s the end for Cancelo , Phillips , Gomez probably McAtee too.

Need to ensure Bobb gets enough playing time next season that’s why I’m hesitant over two wingers coming in and I do think long-term Doku probably takes that spot.
 
Interesting that Ferland Mendy talks has been started again, has one year deal left and Davies will come also, maybe
