Seems to have bundles of potential.

I'd break the bank for van de ven. In Peps hands he's potentially walker 2.0. Would be near impossible to get from Spurs though. Ships sailed.

I think Walker was always a decent defender, yes he uses his pace but his strength and nous to shut down a winger was always there. He hasn't really got better technically imo.

You do realize a Haaland backup likely won't play exactly like Haaland. The last backup in Alvarez didn't play as a lone striker at River before joining us.

Just like Rodri, a Dinho replacement, isn't the same player as Dinho. Gundo who essentially replaced David Silva at LCM after he left City, wasn't the same player as him. KDB who essentially replaced Yaya wasn't the same player as him. The list goes on and on.
