To get back to our very high standards of 2 years ago we will need players clubs do not want to sell. This will be very expensive

I am not sure we are going to eat in the summer budget and hamper Viana's first season as DoF by bringing in expensive January signings. No pun intended. We brought in Bony due to us going for both De Bruyne and Sterling. Both weren't cheap at the time.

Weren't we linked with Sander Berge when he played for Burnley or Sheffield Utd a few years ago? He's now at Fulham, always thought he's a good dm. I think he was their successor to Palhinha, so they would probably demand a king's ransom for him.

Anyone in here mentioned Bowen from WH? Energy, goals, pace and can play wide or number 9.

Likely big money (if he is even gettable) but WH are struggling, so who knows?

Leif Davis at Ipswich is one to keep an eye on.

Him & Hutchinson are the only creative players in that side. Wouldn't mind having them both at City.

Ademola Lookman. Having a world class season in Serie A and is homegrown (changed national team to Nigeria). Would be our best left winger and a Haaland backup. Plays a bit like a mix of Doku and Son
