I remember us being linked with Arthur Numan, think he had a spell at Rangers?, and a whole summer being linked with Christian Dailly who made up for not joining City by scoring to put us 2-1 up in the Ewood Park promotion game.
He did later on in his career. At the time (91/92) signing a dutch international was a massive transfer. I remember being gutted when it never happened.
