Players you would get rid of in the summer

Balotelli, Kolo, AJ and Tevez for me. Savic out on loan to give him some confidence.

Everyone's going to say Dzeko, but I think if we start playing with wingers and bring in Hazard/Robben then Dzeko will get much better service. And hopefully see an improvement in his form.

People are DEAD WRONG on Dzeko...the guy is patient despite not being given a real chance due to Mancini's infatuation with Balotelli (which cost us the title, effectively)...because he likes this club and fans a lot.

One thing for sure - in a game like THIS, he would not pull of what Balotelli just did as long as he LIVES.

The guy has a winning mentality, has skills, and loves this team.
He should be kept.

But it all depends on what happens with management, as I think he's tired of Mancini-Balotelli bullshit. He was recently in Sarajevo "clearing his head for a run-in" - but the truth behind it is that he is going through a rough patch.

And wouldnt you be if you want to WIN and you are being benched for - Balotelli?? I would be raving.

Dzeko may be the greatest Bosnian player ever and I know you all love him but, let's face it, it isn't really hard to be the greatest Bosnian player. Dzeko is not good enough.

Jo - I understand where you're coming from but I disagree on the "not good enough" part because I think Dzeko never got a real chance yet.
That's the only reason I want him to stay another year.

Did he ever step on the pitch this season knowing his manager has given him full benefit of the doubt??? I dont think so.

Balotelli, kolarov, de jong (sorry mate, no signing contract then get fucked), tevez. Would like aj to stay if he's happy with bit part role, but wouldn't lose any sleep if he went.

Hopefully bring in 50+ mil. Get hazard, Martinez, top defender and a top striker then that should do it. Probably a left back aswell.

Dzeko going would be a big mistake in my opinion, with the correct service he will get goals. A big problem for us is can Silva and Nasri play in the same team?

We should go for RVP and recall Guidetti to go with Edin and Sergio. We will be getting a load off the wage bill with -

Tevez 200k
Adebayor 170k
Santa Cruz 90k
Weiss 20k
Bridge 90k
Balotelli 100k
Johnson 50k
Kolarov 60k

We should look to get in Eden Hazard to give us width and Javi Martinez. Also look to bring through some of our young talent.

These threads are daft - what cash would we get for those players? We couldn't sell half of the deadwood before, why now? we should be adding to the squad, if anything

It's going to be really interesting to see who we can get rid of. I suspect not as many as we'd like, unless they go on loan again. ignoring the transfer fees, I can't see many other clubs being able to match the wages we agreed to pay. RSC for example. no one will pay his wages. Yet we need some to go, so others can come in.

As our title hopes are now 99% over, I think we can all agree that this has been a good season, and we can now look forward to next season which I think will be our season. So who do you think should go in the summer? For me:

Balotelli
Tevez
Kolarov
AJ
Dzeko
Kolo

I disagree with Balotelli.

Obviously Balotelli will be subject to a lot of hate after what happened today. However he has improved a lot this season on the pitch and his goal scoring record also. I believe over time that he will become more of a team player. I think his attitude will improve more as he matures, it is likely that his unpredictability will disappear; but that is part of what makes him so unique and at times spectacular, partly due to his tough upbringing. This has clearly has an impact on his as a person and I do sympathise with him. It is understandable why he kicked out today, I think it showed he does have passion and it is easy to see why he was frustrated.

Agree with Dzeko but think we should keep the others you have mentioned, send Johnson on loan though, he needs more playing time and experience.

We'll get buyers for most of them, Bridge will again be the toughest. Santa Cruz good for Betis and willing to compromise on wages (from the horse's mouth), must have a fair few admirers.

it`s alright saying players had good games but the simple fact of the matter is the team lacks pace in midfield and upfront and a figurehead striker someone in the kompany mould but a striker until these areas are addressed we won`t win the league

The media have it in for Balotelli and the situation would only worsen were he allowed to remain. Even if the manager is kept, I'd imagine the owners would prefer any negative influences to find pastures new.

Savic (loan)
De Jong
Johnson
Balotelli
Tevez
Dzeko
Adebayor
Bridge
Santa Cruz
Weiss
Kolarov
