Basically, defenders. They are just boring. Unless they are world class, I'd consider having kompany, but not really as we have aguero, silve etc. Never would even consider someone like dunne or even lescott.

I remember getting Wanchope on my shirt and literally a matter of days later my dad comes in and tells me he's left.

Since then I haven't ever had anything on the back of my shirts and probably never will. (The only thing i'm tempted by is an Italy shirt with Balotelli on the back)

With regards to OP I used to play footie with a guy who had a Wes Brown United shirt about 6/7 years ago. He was a complete fucking tool.

Balotelli. I would certainly always cheer for him and wish him well so long as he is ours, but he is not the type of player I truly look up to. Perhaps it's because I'm a coach and have coached people like him. All the talent in the world, but too self-absorbed to ever be really admired by me and loved by his teammates. I know that's part of the fun of Balo, but can you ever really put a better name across your shoulders than KOMPANY? For me, it was a no-brainer.
