Playing to the final whistle...

I heard it said time and time again in the press/media, that United are winners because they always play to the final whistle.
I've also heard it said that until City have the same mentality we won't succeed.

Well, we played to the final second last night!

We have started to tick all the boxes...

Win a trophy - Tick
Qualify for Champions league - Tick
Win without Tevez - Tick
Knock United off top spot - Tick
Play to the final whistle - Tick

Not getting ahead of ourselves, but what other boxes should we be ticking next?

Win the Carling Cup -
Retain the FA Cup -
Win the league -
Win the Champions league -
Any Other? -

Agree re winning mentality -- last night was watershed moment ! we finally "joined the club" Yesss ! how many times have you heard -- "THEY always score in last minute etc wish WE were like that !" -- well we are now !! and its a major step forward -- the belief , the execution etc. Come On CITY !!

Everyone is playing there part now,and the competition for places is improving our players performances.People like Zabaleta,Hargreaves,and Milner have all come in,and contributed well in recent games.

I absolutely hate Rags saying this when they've just bundled a goal in the 5th minute of 3 added-on!!
