We used to get a bastardized version on draught here in the USA but it was hard to find; however, my local had it which was lovely. Then it was discontinued a few years ago. You can still find it in cans with the nitrogen capsule here but it is inconsistent even in specialty liquor stores. Whenever I see it, I grab a few. It’s somewhat metallic-tasting but the smoothness of it is a nice thing and I drink it as a matter of principle!

Balls to all this, can someone recreate an authentic pint of Marston's Pedigree circa 1988?
A great beer back in the day, but notoriously inconsistent and hard to look after. I lived and worked in Burton upon Trent for a decade and even the boozers there, including those right by the brewery, couldn’t get it right half the time.

Is there any word if more pubs are getting new barrells.
Sold out in days the few that sold it.

It's on soon at my local micro pub in Stafford. Seems unusual that they are getting a Lees delivery as they normally have Brew York beers on their handpumps.

Once ordered a pint in a pub in Liverpool. Barmaid yelled at me, are you from Manchester or are you driving ?
The whole fucking pub laughed.
