Yes but how many of them do you ever hear? I know people bemoan the lack of originality in football chants these days but the fact is crowds have become more sedate and middle class these days and they just don't belt them out like they used to. People are afraid to get the words wrong and look silly or get accused of being a JCL.

You need to use a tune people recognise and simple lyrics in order to get them off their asses and on their feet arms spread wide.
