PNE

Didn't Brian Kidd have a go managing them? As others have said Paul Simpson, Mike Robinson. The odd thing about PNE they seem to often look to Scots to manage them and as a result they seem to have less connections with those around them than others do.

Yes he did and Bobby Charlton once signed Nobert Stiles! And "Golden Ball Locks" once played there of course!!

A lot of people don't like PNE because Darren Ferguson manages them. Before that I'd guess most people were completely indifferent. We haven't competed at the same level enough (in most people's lifetimes) and they aren't close enough to be 'rivals' in the sense that even Burnley and Blackburn (which still isn't very much at all).
