City Til' I Die
How would you describe the buzz?
The feeling inside on match day.
4:45 three points in the league,
Whether at home or away.
The excitement of meeting fellow blues,
In The Townley with the lads.
After the game in Mary D's,
The abuse aimed at the rags.
What do you eat on match days?
A hot dog, maybe a burger.
I'd much prefer to have a drink,
Pints of fosters or a singha.
It's sometimes hard watching city sober,
I get the feeling it's soon to change.
We all crave exciting football,
We don't really care how much we've paid.
I hope you see what I can see,
Our blue moon now rising up.
If we're all fully behind our team,
At the very least we'll win a cup.
They say we are the greatest fans,
With great hearts you cannot buy.
Like you, I love this football club,
Like you, I am City Til' I die.
