They are technically so much more superior to the players coming from Italy. Yet we tend to keep dipping into that expensive shit pool. :?

At this point, if neither party would budge, I think we'd do well to tell them the farthest we can go in terms of Pogbas fee and then if it doesn't work out we can look back to the time we signed second choice Aguero instead of Sanchez and encourage ourselves by the way things panned out eventually whilst targetting the best truly defense minded miidfielder there is out there. A truly defense minded midfielder would be key especially if we'd be playing De Bruyne and Yaya Toure, both not great defensively. The guy from Sevilla - Grzegorz Krychowiak - instantly springs to mind, why on earth is nobody seemingly after him??

Doesn't matter. If they are cheap you can afford some not working out. The Italians are expensive and as many don't work out. Frankly, the Dutch work out more often than buys from Italy.

Give me a league there haven't been flops from? Italy? Portugal? Germany? Russia? Maybe Spain? There have been plenty of flops from EVERY league. The Dutch are just generally cheaper, so their flops don't hurt as much. And they've brought some of the best players to grace this league too. So it's not as if they produce at any worse a rate than any other league. Yet they are cheaper. Far cheaper!
