The little minx deserves a good spanking, any volounteers

It`s a pleasure reserved for chairman Lato I`m afraid ;(

Reading today that Lato has been getting plenty of stick from the Polish fans. What's the reason for this? I thought he'd be a hero after World Cup '74, '78 and the Olympics in '72.

Can I ask of questoin of why a lot of people use "#" in England threads, it's not twitter...

It's an 'in joke' from the cellar.

It`s only because his involvement in Polish FA and way he is managing that institution, not for long now thanks God (general arrogance and lack of knowledge, corruption allegations, scandalous decision to remove our White Eagle crest from players shirts for PFA badge, unfriendly tickets distribution system and many more).
He was a great star and fantastic player praised by millions but his recent years activities ruined that image.
There is this song "Byles legenda, zostales sprzedajna menda" which means "You were a legend but now you bacame venal ****".

People still love him/like him it`s not like that, but sooner he leave FA chairman position the better for him and for us. And if he will get involved in some good footbaling projects/charity etc. he may be able to rebuild his image but not to former glory I`m afraid.

Thanks for that.

I saw the plaque for the '72 gold medalists in Munich's Olympic park. His name and Kazi Deyna's was on there.

Roof is on and pitch is dry at the moment (according to observers).

If England win today no one will remember about this.
If they loose they will blame us and situation.
Don`t know what about draw tough ;)

It`s easy to blame Poles for that (and many suggest that there was an agenda but what exactly is an advantage fpor us in this?) but decision about roof was made by FIFA delegate after consutation with main referee and both managers (art20.par5.of FIFA regulations). Also if the official training took place under the open roof, the same condition must be present during the game.
I think this is perefect example of bureaucracy winning over common sense and officials ability to make a correct decisions under pressure.

Good god, don't come on here talking about agendas mate.
On a more serious note, I heard this morning on the news that there was no FIFA delegate there, and that he/she has to be present when the roof is closed, or a game is played under a roof. No idea why that is.
It was just a fuck up. No agenda, just a silly mistake. The roof should have been closed at lunch but it's yesterdays news now.

If Lescott, Hart or Milner get injured, PM De Niro and Co. They'll tell you all about why the game was postponed then. ;-)
