Controling the Ticker Tape from EL 3 Block 308 on
We were in row 5 just to the right hand side of the goal, what was it all about yesterday again with the stewards and police.
At one stage it took 4 stewards and 2 coppers to remove a guy 'with the funny hat' you know who you are.
Then they came back for a young lad about 18, made him take his flag down and removed him all the time when the Sunderland lot were standing in their corner.
The City lads got into a disagreement and got removed.,they were just going overboard throughout the game. So next season expect us to get about 200 tickets at this rate.
Outside at the pub over the road the police were great as we had a great sing song but inside the stewards just spoilt a great day for some of the lads.

i didnt have any trouble with them yesterday and they didnt try to make us sit down where i was but over the years i have seen coppers up there acting like twats, the only thing i saw from them was one having a go at us in the tent to stop swearing, but that was early on before it filled up alot, which was when an old bloke was going mad at me because city fans were singing town full of geordies

That was a great laugh in the tent, no trouble and mixing with the Sunderland lot, there again we do have a good relationship with their lot going back to Main Road when we give them 15,000 tickets for their relegation game.
So always good to go up there I think.

where was this tent thingy? I assume it was a beer tent !!
It is the pub right opposite the ground, where the Black Cats office block is behind the stand opp where the players come out. It is only a small pub but they have a tent at the rear and set it up with barrels and let the away lads take it over, but to be honest we mixed with all the home fans and the police just kept a eye on everything but it was well good and you were ok for going back in after the game so well done to the Sunderland crowd etc.

This and remember having a great craic with some Mackems who came in The Beehive for this game, i am sure we had to beat them to finish above the sh*te and i told them that although i was fond of Sunderland (still am despite their tw*t of a manager!) we need to beat them even if it puts them down (or doon!) and they said they would be the same if it meant them finishing above the Geordies - such is footie!

Alway like Sunderland and their fans personally, love the area when i have been up there, i have just hated their last 2 managers (with the exception of the one whos name i cant spell in the middle i think!) for obvious reasons, but no doubt Quinny will get that right as well there soon !

Found all the police and stewards friendly and helpful yesterday-some even smiled and had a bit of banter. Wish all grounds were like that perhaps it helped that I lived up there for 3 years and, as my mate said, I was able to translate!

Lmao, that pub was quality, had a nic epint aswell, as for the stewards there wankers, i was behind the net on the front row and all my rown got chucked out with 20minuets to go, got back in when we scored tho ;)

I was in that tent from 1pm till we got a police escort about 3.30pm,
fair play to Panda that sunderland fan he was a good laugh.

police are scum , end of.
the lot of them.
jumped up self righteous pricks , who were bullied at school , and brainwashed when they joined the police

Not so friendly coming out at the end of the game unfortunately. We came out directly into the home fans who were in the stand to our left. Lots of abuse thrown about and a a couple of locals (no teeth, yelling a foreign language) were having a pop at a 14 year old City fan before the police stepped in. Personally, I have no great affection for Sunderland - it was always a nightmare going there in the 70's and 80's and the natives are still made up of a large proportion of fat, tatooed, retards - and that's just the women.

So its just like the abuse the away fans get at Eastlands off our fans on leaving the ground

Probably - although I haven't read a post saying that City fans are the salt of the earth etc

Well maybe you should grow up and stop slinging abuse and attacking 14 year olds, if, as you say, you do it as well.
