I watched a news feature the other night about what happens to Police Dogs when they retire. Despite the service they have given when they retire they are not pensioned off. In other words if you take one in after retirement you will be responsible for all the costs associated with food and vet bills. You get no help from the Police Authority that they served. Just another example of this country casting aside those who have given it service.

They can all fuck off. My fear / loathing / dislike of dogs - all dogs - comes from being bitten by a police dog at Euston station after a defeat at Highbury in 1983. A group of us just walking past to get the Special and the fucker just launched into my leg, ripping my fave jeans at the time.
Had to go home and explain to my
Mum why I had fang marks on my thigh having been bitten by a police dog and having to convince her I hadn’t been involved in fighting.
If it happened now I’d sue the bastards but back then it was a shrug of the shoulders and carry on regardless.
